Maart

Het is maart. En februari is voorbij gevlogen, zonder blogposts. Nou wil ik geen smoesjes maken, maar februari was op zijn zachtst gezegd een drukke maand. Zo ga ik weer naar school. Ja echt! Over vier jaar staat er zuster Anne op mijn naamplaatje. Ik leer over bloedcellen, infecties en ook hoe je een bed moet opmaken. Maar nu vind ik dat er ook weer geblogd moet gaan worden. 

Het is tijd om Isaac zijn kamer aan te pakken. Hij begint nu echt de wereld om zich heen te ontdekken, aangezien hij nu alweer een half jaar is. Ja echt! Hij neemt alles wat hij ziet in zich op. Ik heb laatst een hele toffe mobiel gekocht bij Nils en Olle van Flensted. Van luchtballonnen, want Isaac heeft al een leuk behangetje van Ferm Living met luchtballonnen. Nu de rest nog. 'Alleen' even wat tijd vinden...

Winter Sun

Een klein beetje lente

Nee, dit wordt geen klaagpost over het weer. Want ik vind die sneeuw best leuk. Daar moet ik bij zeggen dat ik niet echt de weg op ga ofzo, dus dan valt het allemaal wel mee. Maar goed. Onze hond Betsie vindt het geweldig om door de sneeuw te rennen en te rollen. En Isaac? Die wordt er vooral verkouden van. En ik heb zin in wintersoepen, warme chocolademelk en ver onder de dekens kruipen. En om een heel klein beetje lente in huis te halen. 

Post Crossing

Last week I received my second Post Crossing postcard ever. How excited I am about this world wide project! I love receiving mail. And I'm talking about the fun mail, I get scared of blue envelopes (in Holland it usually means you need to pay your taxes).

Now I'm curious what other Post Crossers do with the postcards they receive. Do you just hang them on the wall? Put them in a book? Do you toss them (I can't imagine doing that though)?

Man Cave Part 1

My boyfriend wants to have a man cave. You know, a place where men can hang out, drink beer, surf the internet, secretly watch porn movies, and all that other stuff guys do. Luckily for him we have this storage room left in the attic. He already started remodeling that room. But this is where my boyfriend left off: It's still a storage room if you ask me. So now it's my turn. Decorating time! I'm thinking about an Eastern Bloc kinda theme for this room. What do you think?

2013

2013, is this gonna be THE year? I don't think it can get any better, since Isaac was born in 2012. Being pregnant and finally holding him in my arms was the most amazing thing that has ever happened to me.

2013 already brought me a new job. I'm gonna start in a month from now as a nurse in training. Some busy years are coming up but I'm looking forward to learn new things and meet new people.

2013 is hopefully gonna bring us some more space. Literally, cause we really could use a bigger house (our house is getting too small with a baby, a dog, a dozen guitars, hundreds of books and just too much stuff in general). And also figuratively speaking cause my head's the most chaotic place on earth.

2013 means a new calendar. Oh how I love to fill in all those empty spots, hopefully with a lot of cool stuff.

HAPPY 2013 EVERYBODY!
